Does vanadium really have positive effect on diabetes? I have read that taking vanadium although no more than 1mg per day will reduce blood sugar count.

There are some studies which states that vanadium can improve sensitivity to insulin. At the same time there are also studies which state that it can cause damage to beta cells and destroy them. Thus the benefits of vanadium on diabetes is not fully proved. Consult your diabetologist before you make any change in your treatment plan.
