You have to tell your child to note the following points related with the headache- when it occurs, duration(how long he suffers), type of headache(throbbing, pressing, shooting), any aggravating factor like food, emotional changes, environmental factor, sleep etc as well as the things which give relief like pressing the head, listening the music, massaging the scalp, playing, sleep, after urination etc. He/She has to note down the recurrence pattern if any.
