Is there a cure for the harlequin baby syndrome?

Harlequin Baby syndrome, a skin disease is the most severe form of congenital ichthyosis. Earlier the disease was considered as always fatal. However with increase levels of care and early introduction of drugs like oral retinoids the number of survivors are increasing. However there is no data available saying that the treatment can cure the disease.
