about a month ago I hurt my knee, I twisted it and it made a popping noise and hurt really bad, I had a emobilizer, got MRI's X-Rays and they said they found some fluid in the knee but nothing more, no torn ligaments, nothing, so my knee still hurts till this day, not as but yes, and it swells from time to time, it's stiff and just doesn't feel right. It hurts on the inside and top of my left knee, what's wrong with me doc?

Can you post your MRI & X-ray reports to have a better understanding about your problem.

Hi,Albernice, Thanks for query, It seems that you might have small hematoma in the joint causing this problem. Give complete rest to the part. Go for antibiotic and anti inflammatory medicines for about 4-5 days. It will become alright and if it persisted then aspiration of blood or exudate may require. Ok and bye.

hello albernice, twisting your knee and having swelling in it after that along with pain indicates some thing inside is torn, causes blood to fill the knee known as hematoma, and any MRI done with hematoma present in knee will not be accurate. so if pain is still present, consult a orthopaedic surgeon who will check your knee properly and plan proper treatment.
